Bring my car from the States to Canada

I'm going to Canada with the Study Permit from Korea next month. By the way, I had stay in the States as a student until last May. During my stay I bought Odyssey 2010 and love to bring it to Canada by my friend. Does my friend have to pay for this process at the border and if yes, how much? After bringing my car, where can I register it and get a Canadian plate?

Read the link below not clear but my assumption would be that you as the owner would need to bring it into Canada as a temporary import .Also it must go back to the US at the end of your temporary residence. Only you can use the vehicle in Canada.
