Bring Funds/money from india

Hi Guys,

How do i bring money from india to canada safely and surely without loosing much money in exchange rate and bank fees.Can experts throw some ideas

it depends on how much money you are bringing. for me, i find i get a better "deal" when i use an atm machine in canada. the fees are far less than what i would pay for currency exchange. i have also asked my bank to increase my daily limit on atms so i can take out more at a time. obviously if it's a lot of money you want to exchange, and not just everyday money, then this probably wouldn't work for you.

i am not talking for day-to-day exp. i forgot to mention landing funds like for ex 10-20k
