Bridging open work permit for Quebec resident who applied for PR via Express Entry

Hi, I urgently need advice.

I work and live in Quebec with a closed employer-specific work permit that will expire in 4 months. I applied for PR via EE through CEC and waiting.

I found a job in another province, however since I just applied for PR, my PR hasn't been decisioned yet.
  1. Would I be eligible for a bridging open work permit to go to that province and take up my new employment before my PR is decisioned?
  2. Since I reside in Quebec, but intend to live and work in another province am I still eligible?
  3. Do I also need LMIA for a bridging work permit?
  4. If I'm not eligible for a bridging open work permit, what other options do I have if my future employer can't provide an LMIA?

Hi GwenFayeth...
I am in a similar situation. Sorry that you didn't receive any message. I was just wondering, how did you go about this process. Did you apply and get the BOWP eventually? Kindly share your experience.
