Bridging Open Work Permit after application for Express CEC

Hello everyone,

I received ITA and I'm applying for Express entry under Federal Skill Worker,

I'm on a Post Graduate Work Permit and it expires in April and I want to extend it.

Now my question is :

1.Can I extend my open work permit after applying for the express entry with a proof showing that I applied for the PR ? (like receipt of application or something like that) Will it be open ? or it's bound to a specific job and employer ?

2.How long after applying online for the Express entry I can apply for tor the bridging work permit ? and what document do I need to show ?

1.For the Express Entry, after receiving the e-APR, if I apply for bridging work permit, is it going to be Open ?

2.How long after applying online, I will receive the e-APR ?

not sure what you mean by receive an e-APR, to my understanding e- APR only means you submitted your application for Permanent Resident electronically, what you need to apply for a work permit is an AOR which is sent when CIC accesses your application and deems it complete, it takes about 3 months to receive that ...

Ok , I correct myself.

According to the link :

"A BOWP can be issued only if the e‑APR has passed the R10 completeness check."

So, basically you mean R10 happens after 3 months ?

correct....3 months is an estimate though
