Hello all

Me and my daughter's mother broke up earlier this year but before that we had plans of relocating to canada, we completed the express entry profile together and i listed her as a dependent, now she no longer wants to go and is contempt with staying in the uk with my daughter. she lives in her own place and we are separated from our common law relationship. I was offered ITA this October and i declined the offer as she was on the application, i have also withdrawn the profile and set up a new one and listed my martial status as single, i listed my daughter as a dependent even though she will not be not be accompanying me and she lives full time with her mother. Please advise if this is correct? and do i still need to add my ex partner as dependent even though we were never legally married and have now been separated for almost a year.

Many thanks all!

You didn't have to decline, you could've just informed IRCC of the change in status.

Single with your daughter as dependent (not accompanying) is correct, explain why you she won't be accompanying, you have to get her medical done and show funds for 2.
