Break Between Terms - Please Help

Hi,
I took a break from my course for 2 terms i.e 6 months (roughly 190 Days), as I had family emergency back in the country. So I left Canada and went back to my country. After 6 months I returned, Continued the course and Graduated in Dec 2019. Can I apply for Open Work Permit. I know I have crossed the line with 150 Days Leave, but is there any document that I can take while applying for open Work Permit, that will get me through.

Did you get an approved leave from your school? Did you work between those 2 terms? Would include any proof of the emergency.

Yes, I have a letter from my school stating my approval of Leave. I had left Canada immediately and gone back to India, I wasn't working that time.

All you can do is try. Include proof that you had approved leave from your school and proof of why you needed to stop studying and return home. Assume it must be an illness in the family. Include copy medical records/hopitqlization records that prove why your absence was necessary and why you needed to bd out of school for 2 months.
