Hello, I lived in the city of Brandon for a while but alot of my friends went to school there.
It is pretty affordable for international students. That includes tuition and living expenses. There are lots of accommodation within minutes walk of the university.
You can sign up to work for superstore, campus jobs, disability services as well restaurants and many more. Its a small community, you will get to meet and know people although admission is exploding for new international students.
The down side is the typical Manitoba winter. Just dress warm and you will be fine.
