Hello,

I have submitted my PR application, and looking to apply for a BOWP as my work permit expires in 2 weeks. However, I just recently lost my job.

My question is, can I still apply for a BOWP without a job offer? And if so, what do I put in the “Details of intended work in Canada” field of the application ?

You don't need a job offer. As long as you have AOR you are good to go.

Thank you! Do you know if I will be able to apply for EI as well while I look for a new job? I have worked full time for about 2 years
I don't know if you can get EI on implied status. You may need to be holding a valid work permit. I'm not sure.
