BOWP Refund

I applied for BOWP in March 2015. But on 2nd April I received my Medicals, and after all visa stamping process I finally landed on 15th May.
But i am still clueless about my BOWP application, as there is no communication regarding that. Do CIC automatically cancel the application, considering that I have now got my PR, if they do. How can I get a refund?

I tried calling CIC no, but didn't got hold of any agent.

You can request a withdrawal of your application using the case specific Enquiry link on cic website. You must include the following in your message.
Complete name,
Client ID number, if you have one,
Date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD),
Country of birth,
Complete address (including the postal code). If the residential address is different from the mailing address, please provide both addresses,
Telephone number. If you have more than one contact number, please provide them all,
Application type,
Date the e-Application was transmitted,
Online application reference number, and
Payment receipt number. (Hope this helps)

I applied for BOWP by end of March, landed in mid May.

My application for BOWP automatically closed by end of June and refund was issued.

Thanks for the input folks.

I received an email today, stating that they're reimbursing me some amount that i had overpaid.
But no information about closing the procedure.

July 31st - Approval letter says that a secured document has been mailed to me at the address I provided when I made application. Validity 2016/07/29

Also on July 31st my ECAS/Application for PR went to Decision made

Yes it is late now. You need to land earlier than the BOWP approval to be eligible for the refund.

To be able to stay and work in Canada all you have to do is apply for BOWP before your old one expires - you'll be on implied status until you receive a new one.
There are 2 negatives of being on implied status:
- you can't renew your health card, so you will have to pay for medical expenses out of your pocket. In Ontario you will get those fees refunded once you get BOWP. I don't know about other provinces
- some employers don't want to hire people on implied status

Of those 2 things worry you apply for BOWP now, otherwise wait - you might get PR before you current BOWP expires: some people got it within days of MR, others (me included) have been waiting for 5+ months.

Is better to do upfront RPRF fees or just wait to pay. I just received medical on 7 august and I did medical on 8 august.

Paying the fees upfront will not slow the process down and it might speed it up. Do it.

I submitted my online application for BOWP (and SOWP) on June 8th, for both me and my husband. Its still open, nobody from cic office worked on it yet.

We finished with landing last night. Am I going to get the refund automatically, or I should apply for it?

For me and my husband seperately, or together under my application (or file) number because we applied together? I applied for BOWP, and him for SOWP.
