Hi Everyone,
My Post Graduation Work Permit expired on March 7th 2024, I applied for WP extension on March 6th 2024, and still didn’t receive work authorization letter mentioning the expiry date (Correspondence e-mail). I just received submission letter.
I Received an ITA on March 12th 2024, I submitted PR application and I received AOR dated March 14th 2024.
Now I'm looking to apply for Bridging Open Work Permit (BOWP) for myself and Spousal Open Work Permit (SOWP) for My wife in the same application. My wife's work permit is expiring on March 17th 2024.
While filling out the details for BOWP application, I'm asked to enter the work permit expiry date, If I enter MARCH 7th 2024 (Original Expiry date of my work permit), its saying status expired and needs to be restored. If I select NO to restoration its not letting me to apply for BOWP.
In order to apply for BOWP, I need to enter the new work permit expiry date (implied status). Can please suggest what do in this situation.
Your response in this regard is highly appreciated.
