I entered Canada Feb. 2018 with closed work permit ends in Jan 2020. I received a nomination in July 2018 then submitted my PR application in August. My application status now is in IP2 since around 50 days.
Now, my employer and due to fund problems informs me that they will end my contract by 31 December 2018.
I am not sure when will my PR application approved may be any time or may went through security screening which may last for extra months.
My question is, can I apply now for a bridge open work permit?
