BOWP and WP application in parallel

Hi all,

I have applied to my work permit using my LMIA provided by my employer, which I'm still waiting to hearing back from IRCC. In the meantime, I got the invitation to apply for PR under CEC, which is also underway.

Since I couldn't find anything to clarify a few questions, I would appreciate if someone could help me out with the following:

1. Can I apply for my wife's BOWP only, or since I'm the main applicant I have to submit mine as well?
2. In case I need to also submit my BOWP, would that impact my current WP application?
3. In case of WP under LMIA approval, do I need to update my PR profile to attach the new work permit?

Someone said that would worth to withdraw my current WP application, and apply straight to BOWP, has anyone had gone through that?

I would appreciate any help in this matter.
