BOWP and contract jobs

Hi Guys,

recently learned that people with BOWP cannot get incorporated. Is it true?

are there any limitation with BOWP like permanent jobs, contract jobs etc.

As of my knowledge, there are no official concerns/limitation with BOWP.. The only thing is employers won't prefer as they need to keep their lights on your legal status to work in Canada.. But yes, if they have urgent requirements, then they can hire..

You can open sole proprietorship instead incorporated. There is no restriction on jobs. I have BOWP and going to join different company as tired with existing company since long time.

However, some big company won't hire on open work permit instead they would prefer PR.
I hope I will get passport request by end of this December or earlier in 2015.
