Both study permit and FSWP?

Hello,

I have been admitted to a PhD program in BC, and was also considering applying for PRship while still here, in my home country. My spouse and toddler will be accompanying me to BC. However I have read some conflicting information on the forum on whether the condition of 'intention to return' of study visas would make it an issue for a PR application. Could someone please advice on this?
