Hi everyone,
I am having a concern related to my work experience in Canada.
So my situation is:
From Jan-18 to present, I work part-time at a restaurant as a sushi chef (NOC B). This is just a small, family owned restaurant. They gave me paystub but I never kept it, sadly. They will provide T4 and can provide reference letter.
From Apr-18 to present, I work full-time as a junior engineer (NOC B). This company is quite big and they have everything: reference letter, pay stub, contract,...
So my question is, can I combine both of those jobs to be my work experience?
If yes, how can I calculate if I have enough 1 year? Like based on T4 to determine how many hours worked or just a reference letter states that I worked there/here for XXX hours?
For example for now I have 10 months of full-time job which are 10 months * 4 weeks * 30 hours = 1200 hours. Say if from Jan to Apr 2018 I worked 20 hours per week, so I have 3 months * 4 weeks * 20 = 240 hours.
So total I already had 1,440 hours.
Just need 120 hours (4 weeks more) to reach 1560 hours as CIC's requirement. Is that correct?
