Hi everyone,
I am having a concern related to my work experience in Canada.
So my situation is:
From Jan-18 to present, I work part-time at a restaurant as a sushi chef (NOC B). This is just a small, family owned restaurant. They gave me paystub but I never kept it, sadly. They will provide T4 and can provide reference letter.

From Apr-18 to present, I work full-time as a junior engineer (NOC B). This company is quite big and they have everything: reference letter, pay stub, contract,...

So my question is, can I combine both of those jobs to be my work experience?
If yes, how can I calculate if I have enough 1 year? Like based on T4 to determine how many hours worked or just a reference letter states that I worked there/here for XXX hours?

For example for now I have 10 months of full-time job which are 10 months * 4 weeks * 30 hours = 1200 hours. Say if from Jan to Apr 2018 I worked 20 hours per week, so I have 3 months * 4 weeks * 20 = 240 hours.
So total I already had 1,440 hours.
Just need 120 hours (4 weeks more) to reach 1560 hours as CIC's requirement. Is that correct?

Yes you can combine part time and full time experiences but unfortunately your full time job doesn't count under CEC because it's NOC C

My full time job is NOC 2253, I already had alberta PNP nomination with that job so I'm pretty sure. I had no idea why I typed NOC C on my first post... omg...

If it's NOC B then it counts and your calculation is right
Thanks for the information.
What is the best way to proof the worked hours with the part-time job do you think? Reference letter that say I worked there for that much hours from Jan to Apr or T4 or what?

Reference letter should state clearly your hours of work.
You can supplement it with T4 or pay stubs if you wish.
