Booking two one way tickets vs. one round trip flight

Hi,

I am exploring the option of booking two one way tickets vs. one round trip flight for a visit to Canada. I am getting a better deal by booking two one way tickets right now but I wanted to know if that is something that might raise an alarm at immigration or if it really doesn't matter? I read that some people get pulled into questioning for doing that but I am not entirely sure and would appreciate some insights.

It doesn't matter, as long as you have a valid return ticket it should be enough.
