booking of air ticket

hey,
'i got my offer letter from conestoga college for this jan intake.when i checked the flight ticket charges, it is increasing everyday for december end.
so, can i take my ticket on 28th or 29th,,or should i reach there before that ?
my class starts on 6th of january.

I think most rentals starts from the first day of each month, so it make sense to arrive on that day (that is if you secured a rental before you arrive there).
