Booking a flight ticket

Hello
I need to book my flight ticket from New Delhi to Toronto. The flight schedule has two stops.
One at Frankfurt and the other being Montreal. The layover at Frankfurt is of 3hrs. Do i require a transit visa for staying at the airport.
Even if there is a change in terminal , do i need the transit visa.

If there is any better route, plz feel free to share.

I posses Student permit and i am from India.

I think the best and tention free route is by Emirates Airline Dubai-Toronto which cost about 1000 US$. One way.

dude go ahead... go by frankfurt..... i came by the same flight.. u do nt need any transit visa... unless u stay in country in less than 24 hours..

You don't need any transit visa...
