How do i go about registering my daughter as an canadian citizenship, on her birth certificate is my full name and her mothers. I have the original on me, i have my passport and all id. Would like to go about getting her registered.

At this point she is actually an status indian registered wtih the Department of Indian Affairs, which i managed to do in 2 months and has all the various things associated with treaty 8 status and indian status.

We dont know if we should hire an lawyer to help us, eventually we want to marry in november, been together for two years she is catholic and i have completed my bapistim and communion and marriage preparation. My Parents came down to Bolivia to see her and meet the family.

Any suggestions and help woudl be greatful. money is not an issue, time for my part because i am an consultant in the oil and gas mining industry thus limited but i want to start this process

1. Actually you are luck in a sense as the child has 2 opportunities to enter Canada. As she is registered member of an Indian Band in Canada, she has the right to enter Canada. Although convincing an Airline to board with a Bolivian passport and no visa would be difficult.
2. You can apply for proof of citizenship for her, and once that is done you can actually apply for a limited validity passport as she is under 2. So apply for proof of citizenship right away. See: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/citizenship/proof.asp
