I know this is the repetetive question, but recently the medical test revealed some blood in the urine test.
doc. asked me to do microscopic test, and got blood again. I have an appointment with the doctor again..
Can someone please let me know what are the further procedures? and how long this process will take until the doc can satisfy VO?
Further adding, my family doc had found the same issue last year and did some tests but said this is happening due to crystal formation and otherwise no major concerns but she did ultrasound too..I have a history of kidney stone from almost 10 years back.
I am really concerned about this issue and dont know how long the DMP will take.
Can someone please advise.

It can take a while for a doctor to get the right answer but as soon as he will figure out what's wrong he will let you and your VO know. Microscopic test should show more details about your kidneys condition and cause of the blood in urine. After that test your VO probably will make decision upon the results.

The procedure is to redo the test and if blood is positive again then it will be mentioned in your results sent to CIC, HOWEVER, it will NOT affect your PR on its own.

Now my doctor is asking me to do the blood test again and also, he is charging me $80 for doctor visit + blood test fees..
Is it fair for him to charge me? I have valid health card...
Also, how many more tests I have to undergo, can anyone pls tell me :(
Can I claim these doc visits on my medical insurance provided by my employer?

Blood in the urine, by itself with no other symptoms, is fairly common and should not be enough to eliminate you from getting your PR.

If I were assessing (and I do have some experience with this sort of assessment), I may want to know:

- Were there any other problems found in your physical (e.g. high blood pressure)?
- Do you have any personal or family history of kidney issues (including cancers)?
- Is this the first and only time a doctor has told you about blood in your urine?

If all of the answers to these questions are NO, you should be fine. They may ask you to re-test just to be doubly certain of no issues.

My amateur opinion is that you should be fine. Can't guarantee 100% of course but I see no potential health issues there.
