I got confused about this issue Do i have submit all my family members birthday certificates even if they will never visit Canada?

We only filled in additional family member sheets. It asks for birthdates of parents and siblings. We didn't send certificates for them.

'Family member' has a special meaning for CIC. It includes the sponsor's spouse or common-law partner or conjugal partner, and any dependent children. It does not include other people we normally think of family, such as parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. So you do not include the birth certificates of your parents, siblings, etc. (unless of course those are the people you are sponsoring); similarly, they do not get medicals or send in police certificates. However, for the Additional Family Information Form, you do list your spouse or partner, your parents, your children, and all siblings.
