Hi all,

Question 1:

My parents said there was no birth certificate when I was born...just a doctor note showing my weight when I was born...
Also I have a certificate indicating I'm the only child from my parents (our country had policy in 1980s that only one child was allowed in one family). So what should I do? Should I have that single child certificate notarized?

Question 2:

When I upload file, should I upload PDF or JPEG? Because some documents have more than one image. Should I make a PDF with multiple pages inside?

After I uploaded, it says "Uploaded - not submitted to CIC" and "Uploaded Filename: xxxx". How can I view the files I uploaded? Don't they show some thumbnails at least?

I'm trying to do all by myself. Maybe they sound stupid...thank you in advance!!!

Birth certificate isn't required for PA/spouse/common law partner.

Files must be in PDF format. Only 1 file per placeholder with a size limit of 4 MB per placeholder. Attach multiple documents as multiple pages in a single PDF.

After I uploaded, it says "Uploaded - not submitted to CIC" and "Uploaded Filename: xxxx". How can I view the files I uploaded? Don't they show some thumbnails at least?

They will all upload together when you are done uploading all the files into the placeholders and move to the payment screen. No thumbnail views but the system informs you about the file name so that you can confirm you've uploaded the correct file.

I'm trying to do all by myself. Maybe they sound stupid...thank you in advance!!!

Thank you, Asivad.

But in my checklist, the first one is Proof of Relationship. this can include:
- a marriage certificate
- Statutory Declaration of Common-Law Union (IMM5409)
- a birth certificate
- an official document naming you as a parent
- a copy of the inside back cover of the inviter’s passport showing the inviter’s parents, if applicable

I'm single, not child. I have jobs in Canada which can be enough to support me. So what's this item for??? :'( :'( :'(

Depends.

If you're applying under FSW, check if you reach 67/100 without needing 5 points for having a relative. If you can get minimum eligibility without those 5 points, you can remove your aunt from this application without any repercussions.

Check FSW eligibility here ---> www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp
OH, I see. Thank you so much!!!

I'm 1000+ (including 600 EE BC PNP extra point). I think FSW has nothing to do with me. I apply under PNP.

Am I right?

PNP is the fast lane on the EE highway but you still need to be in some vehicle - FSW/CEC/FST.

Were you eligible for CEC? If yes, you can leave your aunt out of this application.
