Hi guys, I'm the principal applicant ( German citizen ). My husband is Canadian citizen and we are applying for an INLAND spouse sponsorship.
Do I need a notarized birth certificate translated in English or should I just upload a copy of it in German?

All it says in the document checklist is : Birth certificates or baptismal certificates for yourself ( and all your dependents if applicable - wether they are accompanying you to Canada or not ) .

That's the only document that I have to submit that's not in English - so I'm not sure if it has to be translated anyways by me or a notar?

Thank you!

I believe it says in the beginning of the checklist that all documents that are not in English/French must be translated by a certified translator. We had the same question as the checklist is a bit confusing at times, and that was the response of our lawyer. Hope that helps!
