Hi ,
I am planning to apply for Canadian PR through CEC category. As myself and my spouse does not have birth certificate which is mandatory document we have got the affidavit from the Canadian Lawyer here in Toronto on June 2014. I heard that there will be validity for this type of affidavit. Please let me know if i can go ahead and use the same affidavit or need to get the new one as i am planning to submit my application by next week.

I would suggest along with affidavit send your 10th marksheet and leaving certificate. Just to avoid time delay. CEC, sometime they dont consider affidavit.

Its better to send your 10th Grade Marksheet which hopefully would have your DOB . That doc will support your affidavit , then you are good to go.

Thank you. Will attach the copy of our 10 Mark sheet along with the Original affidavit.
