I want to sent my application to New Delhi, however the problem i am facing is that my birth certificate is in Gujarathi language. Will it be ok if i send my school leaving certificate which is in english instead of birth certificate?
Thanks in advance.

You need Certified Translation of your brith certificate , English or French. I think school cerificate will not enough, try to get Cerified Translation of your birh cerificate then make a copy and notarzie.

This one is no problem, I have someone with such situation 3 years ago. what he did was; Translate it to English, then had it Notarized (stamped and signed) by a commissioner of oat (a lawyer). He then attached it to the original to them. I hope this helps.
Good luck.

I guess you are talking about "Notarized documents", Mean of both of us is same, Just im telling him/her what CIC requirements are "

Quote from CIC

" IDENTITY AND CIVAL STATUS DOCUMENTS"
Note: If the documents above are not in English or French, submit a certified English or French Translation along with orignals.

Now if Notarized and Certified has same meanings, then you are correct, he can do a simple english translation and then Notarize , but if they really need a certified translation( in my knowlege, Certified translation means translation from a agency or person who have government issued licence of translation, other words.. official translation) then he must translate from a official translator and then notarized.

Good luck

i dont know which country you are from.

In India, there are some Notary lawyers who are certified to translate some languages to other languages because we have 16 official languages in India. These guys have given transation exams and are authorized to transate docs.

I have translations notarized from such lawyer. If I have to send a translation somewhere, I simply photocpy the original translation and get it notarized from a regular notary.

and this is what I plan when I receive a request for documents...

pls, correct me if i'm wrong
