I am in chaos right now! I am all ready to apply under federal PR (provincial nominee ) but I don't have a birth certificate available with me. The one that I have had back home, has a lot of mistakes in it. The place where I live, the wait time is about two months to get a new one or get the old one rectified. So, I called CIC customer service centre, they said strictly it has to be birth certificate only, no other substitute documents. One of my friend he got his AOR by substituting the birth certificate by 10th Pass certificate by all India secondary edu board (cbse). please guide... what should I do?
