Hi. On my wife’s original birth certificate her nick name was mentioned which does not match her name on all other official documents. In order to apply for the spousal PR, a name change request was made. In the updated birth certificate, her name is mentioned as “Nick name alias official name“. Please advise whether this will be acceptable for purpose of applying for PR? If not, should we be attaching additional documents as proof of birth?
