Birth certificate and Experience letter format for Canada PR

Hi All,

I am applying for the canada PR this year.. but got stuck with 2 problems:

1. Proof for DOB: as I don't have municipal certificate, can anyone please share what affidavit we have to produce along with our SSLC certificate and passport proof. Please share the format and if we have to write any letter to CIC.

2. Experience Letter format: I have my experience printed in the company letter head but what it didn't have my roles and responsibility. Can anyone please share what we need to do, format of any reference letter.

Where are you planning to get the affidavit from ? The notary public will have all the formats available with them. If you have an affidavit a cover letter describing the whole situation won't be necessary.

If your company is not willing to provide the duties and responsibilities in a company letterhead - try and get a senior or a colleague to do it on an affidavit with their Business Card attached. If all fails - then self signed affidavit (least effective).

I planning to have the affidavit from bangalore and by own..as my parents are not here, do we require to have parents signature also on the affidavit.

for experience letter, do we need to make the affidavit from all the employers.. as i am currently working with the same company for 7 year and before that with some other company. Do u have any format for affidavit or reference letter?

I planning to have the affidavit from bangalore and by own..as my parents are not here, do we require to have parents signature also on the affidavit. Parents signature is NOT required.

for experience letter, do we need to make the affidavit from all the employers.. as i am currently working with the same company for 7 year and before that with some other company. Do u have any format for affidavit or reference letter? You have to show your experience for the past 10 years (if you have). Whichever company falls within this time frame, you would be expected to show LOR for them. It however boils down to what is your NOC and do those experience count towards it. But LOR is necessary.

I am wondering if any of our supervisor will agree to sign any affidavit because they may think its a risk. can we make this thing in A4 paper with there visiting card ...etc.

I got this post from one of the member .....for non availability of experience letter ....can you guys confirm whether this will work or not as it didn't require any other person intervention. Please also let me know how much denomination of affidavit and to whom its should refer because to get affidavit you have give information like... TO and FROM

Dear Meelan,

I got my PR processing done through a very well known law firm in Canada. I was in similar situation as you currently are. I was asked by my lawyer to provide a "Declaration for no proof of employment" notarized affidavit.

I provided the same and had no issues with PR processing. I am currently sitting in Canada writing this letter to you. Below is what my lawyer had me fill out and get notarized. I am giving you the exact letter I had provided minus my employer's details and my roles and responsibilities. I'll not remove the reasoning for your benefit. Hope it helps you as well.

You can print it on any 8x11 print paper and get it notarized. Feel free to PM me the final content and I'll be more than happy to review it. You can exclude your salary and employer details if you like.

I have that letter and I shall enclose the notarized copy of the same.

Self sworn affidavits are infact the last resort. The format can vary from individual to individual.

Also - remember where affidavits are presented due to lack of required documents, it totally varies from a case to case basis as to whether the VO approves it.

Ok Fine am thinking to send both a self declaration + reference letter. Can u tell me what denomination affidavit i should use. Before purchasing they ask for TO field in affidavit?

I am not sure about the denomination. I am sure the VO won't care either

But to be sure - use the FSW2014 timeline.
