Birth Certificate Alternative

Hi,
I have a query regarding Inland Spousal Sponsorship..
My background: Did Masters from a Canadian Univ; Doing IT job. My Husband has the same background. He is a PR holder. I need to apply for PR under Spousal Sponsorship and I don't have a Birth Certificate as of now. What alternative can be used as a proof of citizenship instead of a Birth Certificate?

I read on this forum that an notarized affidavit showing name, date and place of birth and parent's names is sufficient. However I am not aware if IRCC has any concerns with it - or the success rate using this method.

For my spouse application, an Affidavit from parents, driving license, and passport - duly attested and it worked for me.
I also added a letter that a birth certificate could not be found and hence above evidence is attached.

It should also work for you.
