I have recently applied for the visitor visa from India on 5 Dec 2021 and received a Biometric Instruction Letter (BIL) on 5 Dec 2021 stating to book a biometric slot before 5 Jan 2022. I have tried all the centers but no slots were available in any other cities too for booking before 10 Jan 2022.
I have booked the earliest possible biometric slot I could get i.e. 10 Jan 2022.
The Biometric Instruction Letter (BIL) states that if the biometrics are not provided within 30 days, the application can be refused and fees will not be refunded.
It was also mentioned that if you cannot provide your biometric information (photograph and/or fingerprints) or if you need more than the 30 days, please complete a webform at and provide a detailed explanation.
I have raised a web form but didn't get any reply. Do I need to send an email to Visa Office ?
Is anyone else facing same issue to get the appointments for Biometrics. ?
