My study permit expired today March 31st but I renewed yesterday March 30th. I waited for the last possible day to submit because we have applied for PR and our passports are already sent to CPC Ottawa for visa stamping last March 11th. Unfortunately, because of the pandemic the passports are stuck there. I have received a biometrics request letter today, March 31st, but it states that I need to bring my passport. What should I do?

Don't they give you 30 days to complete the biometric? You should have enough time to wait for the passport to return then do the biometric. I guess the study permit is meaningless if you have PR though.
