biometrics no longer required due to COVID - refund of fees?

Many of you have probably heard about this:

I previously submitted, and later withdrew, and application. So my biometrics should be on file, and this would mean I no longer need to give them. I already paid the biometrics fee for this application. Does this mean I can get that refunded?

I have a question , is there anyone who didn't got their biometrics fees refunded back even after getting approved pgwp work permit.
It's been almost 3 months my biometrics fees haven't been refunded.

You will get refunded on your original method you of payment. Did you checked your credit card ? Usually you get refunded within 3-4 weeks

You should try to cic call centre. It’s usually doesn’t take that much time.
