Biometrics lost?

Hi I am submitting my visitor online application from within the US. A week ago I went to the closest VAC office (not in LA or NY) and submitted my biometrics. I am checking the application status and it says that the biometrics are still needed. Is this normal or they have been a problem.?

I have been trying to contact CIC and they have no information regarding the application because its online...

It might take a few weeks before you see an update on your status - CIC is not known for their efficiency

It took them about 10 days to update my account after I gave biometrics in the US (not in VAC center)
