Biometrics letter, with ITA or after AOR?

Hi,
Slightly confused with the new biometrics requirements if anyone can help?

We are hopefully expecting ITA in next draw, score 446, from the UK. When are the biometrics required? Once we get an ITA and we submit it with all our evidence? Or after AOR when we have submitted everything? I can't find a straightforward answer.

Partner works offshore so going to have to get our timing right so our 30 days to do biometrics isn't when he's offshore for 21 of them!

You will get Biometrics letter after E-APR means once you file PR application. That letter will have all instructions and you will be given 30 days to submit it.

So just to be clear after we submit all our evidence like proof of work experience, proof of funds etc, then we will get biometrics letter and then have 30 days to go? We need to go to England for this as there are no places in scotland so have to be sure so we know when to expect time off work and flights etc. Thanks

Yes after you submit your application and you get the EAPR confirmation, you will get a letter with the biometrics instructions. offcourse this varies depending on your citizenship. so best to check here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/biometrics.asp

the Biometric request letter will not be issued immediately after you submit your application. It could take a few weeks so plan accordingly. Once you recieve it, you will most likely have 30 days to give your fingerprints.

- I am a resident in Bahrain and under the process of filling up the E-APR. With the new bio-metric requirement coming in, when i looked for centers in Bahrain it came to my attention that there is none over here.I am going to be flying to Dubai in the coming week to attend a family function, would it be possible to do it over there in advance ??
