biometrics information in express entry profile

Do we put any information about our biometrics while creating an express entry profile?
I didnt put any information about Biometrics, now that I have created the profile, the part for biometrics number and date are empty!
Did I need to put any information here?

EE profile creation won’t ask for any biometrics information. Are you talking about your PR application? Once you give your biometrics, your PR application will automatically be updated with biometrics number and expiration.
