Hi All,
I have questions regarding two applications:
1) I applied for my mother in law's visitor visa. Given that she is an immediate family member, we won't require authorization letter from IRCC. However we received request for Biometrics submission and she is in India where all the biometric submission offices (VFS) is closed for anything apart from family sponsorship class visas. So, what are our options? I read that few people went to Dubai to submit their biometrics. Is that the only option? My mother in law will be traveling sometime in May 2021. If she cannot travel to Dubai, what are we supposed to do? Is there a way we can get an exception? Also what happens to the biometrics deadline? Does it automatically get extended because of the VFS offices being closed?
2) I am also in the process of applying for a supervisa for my mother. I understand even this visa class is not allowed for biometric submission in India VFS offices right now. So, if I apply for her super visa, would it be the same situation as my mother in law's?
Hoping someone can shed some light on this.
