Biometrics fee

hi everyone!

I sent my spousal sponsorship application last week. Btw, I haven’t paid for the biometrics fee yet because in the cic website it states There that in asia before December 31, 2018 we are still not required to submit biometrics yet. Is it okay?

Thanks for replying, actually I’ve already checked that, it says there that asian countries (to be specific, Philippines) is still not required to submit biometrics till dec 31st thats why i didnt pay for the fee for the biometrics. Im just confused. i just submitted my application a week ago and they recieved it yesterday.

What's the confusion then? If it says you're not required to submit it if applying prior to Dec 31, then you're not required to submit it. So you not submitting it isn't a problem, it's following their instructions.

It says:

You don’t need to give your biometrics right now.

However, starting December 31, 2018, you’ll need to give your biometrics when you submit a new application for a visitor visa, study or work permit or for permanent residence.

You applied prior to Dec 31 so you're not supposed to give biometrics.
