Hello can somebody enlighten me if need to pay again for the biometrics? i actually just applied for the permanent resident last two weeks ago and i receive an email that i need to pay for the biometrics as well as the email that i can link my permanent residency application on my gckey. so i link my gckey and it shows that my biometrics that was done 2021 were still valid along with my wife's biometric. Can i just disregard the email that was asking me to pay, i also call the IRCC and told me that i can submit a letter through webform, im afraid that this will slow down the process of my application, Thank you

As far as I know, for PR application you need to submit fresh biometrics. There was a temporary exemption due to covid, but it was lifted in June or July. So its best to pay the fee and submit biometrics ASAP
ok thanks i was really confused since the agent just told me to write a letter to attach at the webform.
