Biometric process

Hi,
I submitted my application for a student permit on June 28th and sent my Biometric on July 15th in Nairobi, Kenya. It’s been almost 2 months and I haven’t got any simple update since. Is that normal ?
I’m really stressed about the situation because school is starting soon and it never took this long to get a visa or a student permit.
Anyone in the same situation that can help ?
