Hi,
I applied for my parents visitor visa last Nov (2023) and after the biometric, we got two separate letters from IRCC for each parent, saying the biometric is valid still 2033, but the application got rejected after that.

Now I am planning to apply for a new visitor visa for my parents again and I was checking their biometric status in the online tool and for my mother it says ‘valid till 2033’ but for my father it says ‘ not found’.
I am so confused, which one should I take for my father’s new application, the letter from the IRCC or the online tool? When applying for the new visa, does he need to do the biometrics again? Any idea or any similar situations?

You will never know until you try. If you have a letter confirming your biometrics validity, you can attach it to your application but it doesn't guarantee anything
