Hi There,

Actually i did apply for my spouse's sponsor back in July Medical Exam already done.

My spouse has received a letter from Immigration Canada on 23rd January 2019 Subjected: Biometric Instruction Letter. In the letter it is mentioned that you should provide or go through biometric finger print within 30 days of this letter date and the letter date is 26 November and last date for Biometric finger print was 23 December, 2018.

As I said earlier we got this letter 2 Months later than the actual date so the mentioned Biometric Finger print date has already gone.
Could you please help us in this regard that what should we do now to get this resolve.

Thank you in advance for your help and support.

if you received the letter through online account or by email on 23rd January 2019, you should provide the biometrics (and fees if not earlier paid) immediately.

if you received the letter dated 26 November by regular mail on 23rd January 2019......you should provide the biometrics (and fees if not earlier paid), and send an explanation letter through IRCC webform to your visa office immediately and don't delay.

Hi,

First please be noted the new rule applied since July 31. So if you submitted your package before the date there is no need to give the fingerprint

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/news/2018/12/canadas-new-biometrics-rule-will-soon-apply-to-temporary-and-permanent-resident-applicants-from-asia-asia-pacific-and-the-americas.html

Also based on the information on CIC website, the Biometric is the first step even for PR. So I guess this email sent to you by mistake. I suggest you contact CIC or the Visa office which is checking your spouse's documents.

Also, You may check below link for more information:

Best Regards

Hi Dear , I am in same boat please share your thoughts.

I would really appreciate expert thoughts please

Could you also please tell me if you pass the deadline date of submission of additional documents due to some genuine reason
(like in my case they asked for some addtitional documents on 7th of Feb and biometrics on 7th of Jan but neither me nor my representative got any email asking for ADR)

Now we have well past the documents submission deadline which is normally 30 days .

I am really worried now what will happen next. My application is paper based PR application under AIPP stream and its not linked online. I checked status over phone and it says we need your bio metrics and we need additional documents to process your application. Then I got talked to agent to verify this information.

I only got to now if i need any additional documents by calling IRCC they told me you need to give biometrics and additional documents since January.

I know it will have impact on my application, but I really donot know what to do know ??? Will my application will be rejected and they will not re-send me email? As this is genuine reason and I never heard from IRCC or visa office about any additional docs and biometrics.

I sent them CSE webform and they donot respond it yet. Also sent and email to london visa office and marked it as urgent.

Your thoughts please...

Regards
