We have encountered a slightly confusing situation. This is pertaining to some cryptic wording in the VFS document. VFS is asking if the applicant wishes to provide the biometric - the specific word used here says 'biometric enrolment'. Is it bascially asking for biometrics again? I have a feeling it may mean something else - perhaps allowing the IRCC to store the biometric, but if they already have it in their database for 10 years, why would they ask for this 'enrolment'?? or is this VFS thing only and has nothing to do with IRCC?
Confusion is that the applicant has already paid $85 fees, done the biometric, can see on their tracker that biometric is valid for next 10 years - does the applicant still have to do it all over again? And pls bear in mind - IRCC has not asked this. This came from VFS - and if you can open the link and read the end of the 4th page - there is a stern warning that if you refuse to enrol - your application might not be processed without any communication from IRCC.
