Biometric before AOR ?

Hello!

I am looking to do a Bridge permit and awaiting my AOR. However it seems like it's not coming. My application still says "Submitted" but is now locked (can't cancel it) and I have received my Biometric invitation as well as an email saying "we've received your application a month ago" but no sign of any AOR. Is this normal ?

It’s not very common, but I’ve seen some timelines where applicants received their Biometrics before the AOR. In those cases, once the Biometrics were completed, they were then issued their AOR shortly after. It seems like things are still moving along for you, so hopefully, you’ll get that AOR soon!
