Bill C-6 and PM Trudeau

Now we know that Bill C-6 is close to being doomed with amendments - residency requirements, language requirements, etc etc. More so, C-6 will look more like C-24.

It would be nice if PM Trudeau patch up with Senate liberals and independents. it would be really nice if PM Trudeau can go to Senate, and meet Senate liberals and independents.

Nothing bad in mending ties with Senate liberals which were unnecessarily broken in the past.

Just whining, like the other threads that have few hundred pages and all people are doing is whining and dreaming. In the west, No new government will abolish completely what the previous gov has passed, change some issues maybe but reversing completely, no. The senators are not stupid they know if they reverse it completely a lot of people will abuse the system again and there will be a huge backlog of applications. Just live your life and be happy that Canada let you in and gave you opportunities.

Yup, those pesky amendments that say that Canadian citizens should speak at least one of the national languages! How dare they have such rules!

"Delaying" where is it mentioned that this Bill MANDATORY has to pass by (Any date)? There is no timelines here.
