Just out of curiosity, with all the negative hype on Bill C-24. I would like to know how significantly it affects the normal immigrant, who has all the residency requirement, clean records and everything.
Just out of curiosity, with all the negative hype on Bill C-24. I would like to know how significantly it affects the normal immigrant, who has all the residency requirement, clean records and everything.
It probably won't effect those who's intention is to reside in Canada after getting citizenship. The intent to remain provision may effect those (you see posts all the time) who apply for citizenship and immediately leave Canada, only to return for the test and the oath, so they can have a Canadian passport to carry on their lives overseas.
