I’ve applied in Aug 2023 , AOR Oct, test completed on Oct and BG completed in November. LPP was also completed in December 2023 according to the tracker and my GCMS notes and I have been waiting for an oath invite ever since. I contacted my processing office (Mississauga) for oath scheduling and they replied saying the following:
“Our records indicates that your background checks are currently in the verification process. The processing of your citizenship application will resume once the verification is finalized. When your application has been reviewed and finalized you will be notified as the next stage in the process by the local IRCC.”
What does this mean ? How is my BG in process when everything is completed? Has this happened to anyone before ?
