Best way to transfer USD TO CAD or USD to USD in canada

I opened Bank account in CIBC - CAD (canada)

1. whats the best way to Transfer USD (USA bank) to CAD (CIBC) with better rate and less transaction fees.?

2. or its usefull to open another USD account in CIBC and Transfer all USD in CIBC USD account then transfer to CAD when needed?
