Best way to submit passport for PR - needed help

Hi everyone,

I am on the last stage of the PR process. The CIC emailed me regarding the submission of our passports. I am here in Canada and my wife and two kids are in the Philippines. On the CIC email, it says that I have to disregard the following instructions if any of my family members are outside Canada and that I have to contact CPC-Ottawa thru email so that they can make arrangements to issue the documents at a local visa office. My question is, this process might take some time because I might submit my passport here in Canada and my family will submit theirs in the Philippines. Back home might take some time to process it. Will it still be okay if my family back home will send me their passports and that I will submit it all here in Canada? In that way, I can be assured that we can get all of our passports with the PR visa in it.

Are they allow to send their passport to Canada? I know India doesn't allows that.

Btw, do you want to risk their passport get lost in the mail?

Better somebody can bring the passports to canada or request for passport stamping from Manila.
