Best way to invite Chinese friend

What would be the best way to secure a Canadian visitor/temporary resident visa for a Chinese friend? I'm PR and have been working in Quebec for a year on a decent salary.

Many threads in this forum say it helps if a Canadian permanent resident writes a letter of invitation. However, if it looks like the person invited is my girlfriend coming to live with me in Canada, wouldn't this be a red flag for immigration officers that she's not planning to return to China? Or is this not a problem?

Does it help if she would like to take language lessons? If so, what would be the right visa category? I've seen that visitors under the TRV class are partly prohibited from enrolling in educational programs.

Any advice much appreciated.

Hey, does anyone have any advice on this?

I'm really not clear if an invitation from someone in Canada can be a red flag for immigration officers that a visa applicant may not wish to return to her home country?

Thanks!

Your girlfriend would not need a study permit if the course in Canada last for six months or less.

You never know the result until your girlfriend try to get a visit visa.
