Best way to inform IRCC of Travel Plans

I have to travel out of Canada in April, but that is approximate time(hopefully) I expect Citizenship test as well.

I will be gone for a week. Once scheduled it might cause delays if rescheduled....

What is best way to approach IRCC to not schedule test in that 1 week? Just the webform?

Yes, webform is the best way. You could try calling them alternatively, but not sure if that would help. However, their guideline is or used to be to inform them if you're travelling for 2 weeks or more.

I used the webform and it worked for me. Take note: it took them 6 weeks to acknowledge the receipt of my webform. So inform them early!

It's only a week, I doubt if its going to be that close.
Notifying them only makes them delay it even more......

I filled the webform last week to inform Mid-april travel(close to when i am expecting test date - hopefully), but if it takes 6 weeks to reply webform that is not good.

Should I call?

I called them and it was faster to update I believe.
